ACCESSING THE MOOVIN FESTIVAL VENUE

BY CAR
If you’re driving to the festival, input the postcode SK6 5HH into your GPS and follow the signage provided. Parking is available at £15 per day (valid for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) or at £25 for the entire weekend (Friday to Monday). Please note that parking fees are payable in cash only.

For those being dropped off, you have the option of using the Festival Car Park (SK6 5HH) or Etherow Country Park Car Park located on George St, Compstall (SK6 5JD).

The walk from the Festival Car Park to the festival grounds is about 25 minutes and around 20 minutes from Etherow Country Park Car Park. Both routes offer a scenic stroll through Etherow Park and are well-marked. If you prefer not to walk, especially if you’re bringing camping gear or want to conserve energy, there’s a shuttle bus that runs regularly.

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Nearby train stations include Marple, Romiley, and Stockport.

From Marple, it’s a 20-minute walk to the Festival Car Park shuttle bus pick-up point (SK6 5HH) or a 40-minute walk directly to the festival. Alternatively, buses run from all three stations to Compstall. Upon arriving in Compstall, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the shuttle bus pick-up point or a 20-minute walk to the festival venue. The area is picturesque, so if your luggage allows, the walk is highly recommended.

For shuttle bus service, proceed to the Festival Car Park (SK6 5HH) after reaching Compstall.

From Marple Station (SK6 7DA):

  • Bus 383 takes about 4 minutes to reach Compstall Village.

From Romiley Station (SK6 4BL):

  • Bus 383 takes approximately 6 minutes to reach Compstall Village.

From Stockport Station:

  • Buses 383 & 384 run a circular route from Stockport through Compstall Village.
  • The 383 bus starts from Mersey Square and the 384 from Heaton Lane Bus Station.

Lynx Taxis are local providers that can be booked in advance. Uber also serves the area.

    Please note taxis are not allowed inside the park; ask your driver to drop you at either the car park outside the site (SK6 5HH) or at Etherow Country Park Car Park.

SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE
The shuttle bus operates from the Festival Car Park to the site but will return passengers to either car park. Just inform the driver of your preferred drop-off location. The fare is £1 each way; please carry cash for this service. As there’s only one access road in and out of the festival venue, there may be waits for available buses.

Motor Home Ticket Holders: Friday, August 25th – from 11am to 9pm.
Camping Ticket Holders: Friday, August 25th – from 1pm to 9pm.
All Other Ticket Holders:

  • Saturday, August 26th – from 10am to 9pm.
  • Sunday, August 27th – from 10am to 9pm.

ADDITIONAL NOTES
Security checks will be conducted in accordance with our Stop & Search Policy.
We enforce an R U Under 25 Policy; if you appear younger than that age, be sure to bring a valid ID such as a passport, citizenship card or driver’s license.
Please do not bring any alcohol onto the site as it contravenes our agreement with the landowner who provides bar services. The bar operates under strict licensing laws set by Stockport Council which we must adhere to; any alcohol found during security checks at the entrance will result in denial of entry with those items. Pre-ordered drinks including beer, wine, cider, prosecco and spirits with mixers are available at competitive prices for campers. Bar prices are £5 per pint.

BAR OPERATIONAL HOURS
Daily bar services are available from noon until 2am.

SCHEDULE FOR PERFORMANCES
On Friday, live music is set to start at 2pm and end at midnight, followed by a Silent Disco until 2am. Saturday begins with a Yoga session from 10-11am and a Gong Bath from 11am-noon. Live music will play from noon until midnight, again followed by a Silent Disco until 2am. Sunday’s events mirror Saturday’s morning sessions with music starting at noon and wrapping up at 11:30pm.

Non-camping guests are kindly requested to begin leaving shortly after 2am.

PARKING DETAILS
Festival parking is available at the designated festival car park (postcode SK6 5HH) at £25 for the entire weekend (Friday to Monday, 1pm) or £15 for any single day (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday).

TRAVEL TO FESTIVAL GROUNDS FROM PARKING AREA
A walk from the parking area to the festival grounds takes about 25 minutes through the scenic Etherow Country Park and is clearly marked. A regular shuttle bus service from the Festival Car Park is available for those with camping gear or who wish to conserve their energy. The shuttle bus costs £1 per person and requires cash payment.

CAMPING DETAILS
Only weekend ticket holders can camp on-site. If you’re a weekend ticket holder who chooses not to camp, you may freely enter and exit the site as long as you wear your wristband and adhere to re-entry times.

MOTORHOME POLICY
A limited number of motorhome spaces are available. Owners must purchase a separate Motorhome ticket along with individual camping tickets for each occupant. Please note that once a motorhome leaves the site, it cannot return, and due to space constraints, caravans are not permitted.

ALCOHOL POLICY
On-site alcohol consumption is restricted to products served on-site due to licensing laws. Campers with a valid camping ticket can pre-order cans of beer, wine, etc., for collection at the campsite entrance. Pre-ordered beverages are allowed in the camping area only.

ACCESSIBILITY FOR BLUE BADGE HOLDERS
We aim to provide an accessible experience for all attendees. Blue Badge holders should email access@moovin-festival.com well in advance of the festival (at least five weeks prior) to discuss specific needs and vehicle accommodations.

ON-SITE FACILITIES
Showers will be operational from 6am-11am on Saturday and Sunday. While water supplies are limited, we encourage considerate usage.
Mobile phone charging will be available on-site for a fee.
Although there isn’t an ATM on the premises, cash back can be obtained at the main bar.

AGE RESTRICTIONS AND FESTIVAL ADMISSIONS
The festival is exclusively for individuals over the age of 18.

VEHICLE RESTRICTIONS WITHIN THE FESTIVAL GROUNDS
Personal vehicles are not permitted within Etherow Country Park as part of our eco-friendly initiative; however, parking is provided near the site.

PET POLICY
Only service animals such as Guide Dogs are permitted on festival grounds.

TRANSPORTATION HOME POST-FESTIVAL
For departure arrangements such as taxis or rideshares like Uber, use Etherow Country Park car park as your pick-up location. Lynx Taxis is the local taxi service available at [phone number]. Shuttle buses also run to the festival car park for departures.

ALLOWANCES AND PROHIBITIONS ON-SITE
Guests are welcome to bring soft drinks provided they are not in glass containers.
Please enjoy the festival responsibly by respecting fellow attendees and adhering to all posted guidelines.
We ask that all campers depart by midday on Monday and take tents and all belongings with them.
Dispose of all waste in designated bins, and recycle cans where facilities are provided.

Please refrain from bringing any alcohol onto the site; this includes glass containers of any kind. Searches will be conducted to enforce this policy as well as restrictions against illegal substances or unauthorized sound systems.
Fires, BBQs, personal sound systems or pets (other than service animals) are strictly prohibited.
